KIKLOP Project Management has delivered 30.000 sqm multipurpose VAKIFBANK SPORTS COMPLEX in Istanbul/Turkey within only 15 months.
The Complex , sponsored by Vakifbank, is located in Istanbul's central residential area, Altunizade. This complex is the most prominent and qualified muti-sports building in Turkey, World champion Vakıfbank Women's Volleyball Team will play international and domestic matches at this complex.
This complex contains 3 volleyball halls, 1 gymnastic/handball/basketball hall at international standards, 1 semi-olympic swimming pool, and 1 fully equipped fitness center, Turkish bath, Spa, Squash ,Yoga, Spinning facilities. In addition to them, The Athletes camp facilities, Restaurant for 400 persons , Vakıfbank sport club HQ offices and merchandising stores are located in this complex. Also 10.000 sqm underground car park is available for the audiences.
The project has been designed as multipurpose 8 floors (4 underground and 4 above ) , enveloped with special designed steel framed fabric curvilinear facades. And the structural design has been solved with post-tensioned reinforced slabs with heavy steel-roof to pass the large sport hall spans.
