Geology University, Tashkent

Uzbekistan is located in the heart of Central Asia and is also one of the few countries which are fully self-sufficient in energy resources. Oil and natural gas comprise 97% of the country’s energy balance. Needless to say, Geology University in Tashkent has a critical role for the country’s current situation and future.

That’s why we created a campus environment so that both researchers/academicians and students might live in it. University sheltered basically office spaces for researchers, learning spaces, library and classrooms, dormitory for students, with a museum of geological artifacts, and a high-tech laboratory building as well. All the components are connected with in a lively, green landscape with open air museum space.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev, President of Uzbekistan, pointed out during his visit to construction area, as below: “Science is in our blood, in our genes. This university serves as one of the foundations of the third Renaissance.” “This task should be approached considerately, for we have high hopes for this university.”
