Located 35 km north of Saudi Arabia’s capital city Riyadh, King Khaled International Airport with a total of four terminals and 6 million annual passengers per terminal, one of the world’s tallest air control towers, a mosque and parallel 4,205 m-long runways, in order to serve as the gateway to Saudi Arabia’s largest city.
King Khaled Airport is one of the key airports in Near East, and the newly added links and terminals will not only enhance the capability of air transportation and service quality, but also improve the integrated transportation system in Riyadh. It will also expand the environment for economic developments and touristic activities.
With a design that creates a pleasant and efficient curbside-to-aircraft passenger experience, welcoming environment is easy to navigate the increasing number of passengers using the airport. The original design concept has been maintained in the outcome that composed of Terminal 3, Terminal Link 3, and Terminal 4 to reply to the complex and extensive requirements.
